After a decade of lurking in the dark, German Death/Doom project Paid Charons Fare joins the GSP family to finally bring its first album 'Mourn' out on physical format!

The one man project, founded by Heiko Borkowski in 2013, deals with personal issues such as depression and death, presented in a soul-crushing robe of Death/Doom Metal including strong influencies from the Funeral Doom genre. Melodic two-part guitars meet up with heavy guitar riffs and melancholic acoustic passages, reminding the listener of the early work of bands like Anathema, Paradise Lost or Katatonia. The vocals carry out the soul of the artist in a mostly screaming matter, stuck somewhere between raging anger and heartbroken despair. Occasional clean vocal passages help to create a gloomy atmosphere, caught in well thought-out song structures. All music and lyrics, as well as the artwork, is done by Heiko himself.

The album, which was originally released in 2015 as a digital EP, will be available as a digipack and will include 2 additional tracks, completing it to a full album. Release date will the the 1st of September, pre-orders can be made through the GSP webshop.
