Absolute amazing blend of various styles. Thy Catafalque return with a hard-banging progressive Metal trip. Superb synths, catchy riffs, lovely vocals. 5 out of 5 <3 nomaster
I love the way you mix genres, styles, instruments...so beautifully composed, I haven't found many reasons to really like electronic/experimental music until discovering Thy Catafalque and the way you blend it magically into metal- it's perfect. karenigma
The Philadelphia group sharpen their hooks and internal dyanmics for a fun and non-dorky take on power pop anyone can get behind. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 26, 2024
Microcosmos appears to be where Thy Catafalque began to shed the 2nd wave black metal cocoon, showing the first signs of the colorful folkened progressive metal butterfly the project would soon turn into. Thy Catafalque would continue to metamorphose and become more ambitious with each subsequent release.
